A shadowed figure creeps through the mist of the forest... Sullen oaks cover its face.

You spot tracks and begin to follow them. They're irregular, as if what left them was stumbling, or perhaps unsure of its step. Your empty water canister bumps softly against your thigh as you trudge forward. At the end of the path there is a creaky wooden shack... It looks abandoned.
The sun is setting quickly. You hear strange noises coming from the trees. The echoes make it difficult to tell where they're coming from, but there couldn't be anything close by.

You decide to wait the night out.
Approaching the door carefully, you knock a few times.
Sure enough, other than the distant noises coming from the woods, there is no sound. The door creaks open and you step in.
There is a mat in the far right corner, old fallen leaves litter the floor crunching under your feet. You stumble...
You can't make out much in the dark. Would you like to rest on the mat?

You decide to rest. The wind whistles above you, and you feel safe. You drift off quickly...

As you open your eyes, you see the sky peeking through holes in the ceiling. You get up quickly, having briefly forgotten how you ended up in this dilapidated building. It seems to have been abandoned for quite some time, and used recently as a place of refuge by someone... or something?
It smells like there had been a fire lit previously, but you see no traces of flames. Looking around, you see some supplies. You pick up a small pack containing a can of beans and an old switchblade. You notice an embroidered design. Strange...

There are no other rooms besides the one you're in. Wooden walls and floors come together, the only furniture is a broken chair on the opposite corner from where you last laid your head.
As you step out into the morning light, you take in your surroundings. What was covered up just the night before is now in plain view. Although the foliage around is a bit overgrown, the abandoned shack in the middle of the woods somehow feels taken care of. You stretch, sore from sleeping on the thin pad.
Tightening the belt on your pack, you notice a blue spout. You quickly walk over, and after some struggling manage to open it. A sound reminiscent of a slide whistle emerges, and as the pitch nears its peak, water rushes out. You hesitate for a moment, but your thirst consumes you. You fill up your canister and chug, replacing what you drank. The water is cold, and only tastes a little weird.
Rehydrated and feeling like yourself again, you find yourself in the structure's « GARDEN »
Small statues of dwarves with worn-off paint, a shovel stuck in the soil, a bucket, this reminds you of a garden you once played in.
There are light brown mushrooms, ferns, forest pansies, and a plant you can't identify. It has a lot of mature stems.

You crouch, and take your cutting from the unknown plant. Just before you get up, you notice a particularly nice looking couple of mushrooms in front of you. You grab from the base, twist up, and tuck them into your pack.
It's comfortable here, nicely shaded and aesthetically pleasing.
You always were one for a pretty setting. You could stay here for a while. There's plenty of wood for a fire, and you'll be able to heat up your beans. However, the tracks continue on into the forest.
